Please join us for a direct action on Capitol Hill at 8 am on Wednesday, June 23, where we will challenge Representative Travis Childers (D-MS), who is trying to wipe away DC's gun laws.
This action continues our aggressive campaign protesting interference in DC's local democracy. We will distribute an advertisement we are launching in Mississippi. We want to make sure that Childers' colleagues and neighbors know that he is trying to pretend he is DC's Mayor.
Join us on Wednesday, June 23 from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM at the Capitol South Metro to hand out these ads and ask Hill staffers questions including:
- Is everything running so well in Mississippi that Rep. Childers should focus instead on DC?
- Should Rep. Childers change his residency from Mississippi to Washington, DC?
- Should he run for DC Mayor?
