DC Vote's 3 Star Ball brings young professionals together to support Equality for DC while partying with DC’s hippest guests and celebs. The night included live music, delicious bites from Celebrity Chef Spike Mendelsohn, and an open bar while honoring Democracy All-Star, Ben Olsen, and the best in corporate social responsibility, with the Raising the Bar award going to DC United.
Join us on April 1 as we visit the Capitol Hill offices of Senators Cruz, Lankford and Rubio and Rep. Jordan to explain why DC residents are not political pawns!
The 9th Annual Voting and Elections Summit co-sponsored by our colleagues at the U.S. and Overseas Vote Foundation, FairVote and Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights will be held in Washington, D.C. on February 5-6.
Help us spread the DC Equality message with DC Vote this Martin Luther King Day during the Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade.
We will be marching with the DC Statehood Coalition and handing out materials to engage spectators and raise awareness of DC's second class status.

Join us for an interactive, high tech Town Meeting that will bring together hundreds of residents from all eight wards to talk about the important issues facing Washington, DC.
The fight for DC Equality hit some speedbumps at the end of 2014, but let’s end the year on a high note! Join us as we reflect on the year and prepare for the challenges ahead of us. Only together will we finally win full democratic equality for our great District of Columbia.
Today at 1:00 PM, DC Vote, along with democracy activists from across the District, will assemble at the Office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Several leaders of the group and activists will address the press.
We will hold a press conference to demand that the Senate strike language in the FY2015 spending bill that seeks to overturn the will of DC voters, who overwhelmingly approved Initiative 71 in November.
