On Tuesday, May 10 from 8:30-9:30pm ET/ 5:30-6:30pm PT, DC Vote is partnering with the Declaration for American Democracy Coalition to host Realizing American Democracy Town Hall: Representation for All Includes DC.

Join this virtual town hall to hear from movement leaders on the importance of DC statehood for the health of our democracy, and learn how you can take action to protect our democracy. Right now, nearly 700 thousand residents of DC, over 45% of whom are Black, have no voting representation in Congress. DC statehood is a racial justice issue, and we can not have representation and equal justice for all without statehood for DC.

The townhall will include an amazing panel of activists and elected officials including Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton, AZ state Rep. Reggie Bolding, Jamal Holtz of 51 for 51, Patrice Snow of DC Vote, and moderator Kelly Therese Pollock.
